The service is actually un-Dutch, this is an extreme compliment in my view. General Dutch service is beyond ****. At Ichi-E the serving personell seems to care, if they don't they manage to hide it very well! The food was great, quickly served and, since we attempted to order things that were not available in the upstairs part of the restaurant, but technically in the downstairs part, the serving lady was very helpful in giving us (similarly priced) alternatives to make up the complete dish we had in mind. If you happen to go to the cinema or a concert, go a bit early and have some excellent japanse food with them! The staff deserves a big tip (at least when we were there)!

I was seated right away as I was alone. The service however was really really slow. it took them a while to take my order and even longer to bring the check. I was surprised that that busy they managed to bring everything within 10 min. the sushi quality wasn't the best the rolls were falling apart and at the bottom there wasn't enough rice in some pieces it was even missing. Also with the speed they brought everything out I was wondering if things are made in a rush or just pre made in advance. other than that it's a nice place with a nice atmosphere, not quiet due to its popularity and being busy.

Nice variety in menu options and beautiful presentation. Excellent (but small) miso soup, perfect tempura, spectacular desserts and fun cocktails. Service was okay but we had to remind them to remove our used dishes before dessert and some of the staff just really did not seem happy or very aware which is probably a sign of the times ; service isn 't what it used to be but hey, I still care and when you 're out spending this kind of money, you hope to be happily served.

This place offers a vast menu besides a rolling sushi bar and I tried the sea bass and three piece of lambs; both dishes were actually excellent dishes. The service started slow but once the server took the order, she was attentive and very nice. I don't blame her as I was there at peak hours and the owner made sure that my table to get taken care of.

This was a 5 Star in my eyes... read more OMG are Taxi driver recommended this place so we Yelped it and I was a little skeptical when the Yelp Page only gave it 3.5 stars. This was a 5 Star in my eyes the food was absolutely delicious, serves was outstanding and location was easy to get to from our hotel! I had sweet wine as my drink and it was fantastic, my husband had the Wieckse White beer and it was also great and I do t like beer, but it was great! Dinner we had the bento box for two and the hamachi. Enjoyed every last bite!
