OKAY, hands down this is my culinary discovery of 2024. I would never have thought that coffee made from dates (Daffee, love the name btw) tastes so delicious. I make it with a Bialetti, no problem. It tastes aromatic, mild, slightly sweet, very fine. And absolutely ZERO bitter. Really zero. You can't go wrong when preparing it. I can only recommend it. My favourite is the normal flavour without flavour components such as cinnamon etc. Orange was also great. Actually, all flavours were great, but the pure taste was my favourite! :D Shipping from the Netherlands to Germany was very fast but a bit more expensive, but no problem that's understandable. I wish it was also available in supermarkets here in Germany. And I would also like to be able to buy larger single packs. Maybe it will all come, who knows. :D Until then, wait and drink Daffee
Daffee.nl is a start up run by a young family, located in a typical netherlands start up center in Amsterdam's Westlandgracht neighbourhood. They have an innovative product coffee made from roasted and ground date kernels. Date kernels were considered a kind of waste until it was discovered recently how many nutrients they actually contain. So turning them into the basis for healthy and tasty brew was a logical thing to do. If you happen to be in the area, you can visit the workshop and smell the fragrance of the freshly ground product and some of the natural aromas used to give it various flavours.

I Love Daffee. It gives me an opportunity to lower my coffee impact (physical and environmental) and it gives the coffee ritual a real nice feel. I combine it often with a little coffee. Especially the Chai variety works very well that way. Ordering goes always very well. Keep on going! Marcello
