Excellent restaurant, would highly recommend it. Everything was really great. The eggs were amazing the anchovies were well balanced and super delicious. The waiter was very knowledgeable on food allergies and pretty attentive. What JGM dislikes about Café Verlan:
Last visited December 2024. I should revisit this place, but rather than selecting the 4 course chefs menu, I should order directly from the menu. Not sure when I'll check this place out again. I would have expected the chefs menu to blend nicely but I only liked two of the 4 courses. Not that impressed..... overall disappointed Solo dining? Depends on where they seat you. Had a great dinner at Verlan last night! The setting is chic and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a dinner with friends or a romantic night out. The wine list is extensive, with excellent recommendations, and there’s a wide selection of appetizers, including a delicious chicken waffle with caviar. It’s really nice to see the kitchen in action. The dishes are well-crafted and delicious—I highly recommend it!
