The food is amazing! ! Cold starters: bread with gorgous home made hummus. Warm starters we shared the Susamlı Börek (filo with spinach feta); and Arnavut Ciğeri (calve liver cubes on fried onion) both were excellent!! Mains we had Kuzu Tandır (lamb shoulder) super tender off the bone pieces, quite rich but delicious. What Nienke Karels doesn't like about Cafe Levant Amsterdam:
Food is good. Location is good. The restaurant has a terrace overlooking the canal. But that seems preserved for groups who drink raki or wine . When we said that we were not going to order raki or wine the host reacted disappointed in a way that we did not feel welcome. Levant is a great restaurant that offers good food and service every time we visit. the people are really nice and eating is always delicious.
Beautiful place, beautiful people / service. delicious appetizers. Unfortunately, only nothing unique or special is disappointed.
As usual provides relevant. excellent food, good service at a busy evening. great place to impress from the city guests, especially those who like seafood.
Eat was delicious. service was excellent. the attention of the staff was as always tight and warm. mezes should be tried as a very good example of Turkish dishes.
