Belushi's - Amsterdam

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Belushi's bar in Amsterdam, and I must say, it's a fantastic spot, especially for sports enthusiasts and those craving some delicious American-style food. Here's the lowdown on my experience: My friends and I decided to check out Belushi's on a Sunday night, hoping to catch some American football action. To our surprise, the place was absolutely packed, which was a testament to its popularity among both locals and visitors. Despite arriving just before 11pm, we learned that the kitchen was closing down. This limited our food options, but we were more than happy with what we managed to get. The bar food we tried was top-notch and perfect for a night out. The vibe inside was excellent, and the decor showed off a great sense of humor. Belushi's also impressed us with its inclusive menu, offering vegetarian options alongside classic American fare. If you're planning a visit to Belushi's, I'd highly recommend trying the Wings Sweet Chilli Chicken, Southern Chicken Tenders, and Onion Rings – they're all winners in my book. For me, the standout dish has to be the chicken wings – they're a must-try. In summary, Belushi's is a hidden gem in the heart of Amsterdam, especially for those seeking sports entertainment, mouthwatering American-style food, and a lively atmosphere. The combination of tasty dishes, an extensive drinks menu, and a fun ambiance makes it well worth a visit. I'm looking forward to returning the next time I'm in Amsterdam, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to others looking for a memorable night out.

Excellent vibe and they have a good sense of humor with the decor. The food is awesome, and the fact that you can light one up inside adds to the taste of the food you eat afterwards :D I will definitely be visiting this place the next time I'm in Amsterdam and would fully recommend! Oh, and they have vegetarian options as well.

Onion rings are pre-made, but boy are they good, hot served and very tasty, the sauces served with them added that extra feeling, I ordered the Belushi’s Classic cheese, what a handful, the bread was perfect, a bit cold, a little bit toasted would have been a bonus but nether the less, is was tasty, the burger was still hot and juicy, the tomato and salad managed to bring some extra taste, which is rare when dealing with tomatoes, but they had it spot on, the ketchup was classic Heinz and was outstanding, the service was great, very friendly staff, and the decor was in theme with the menu, definitely recommend, especially during happy hour, I will be going back to my hotel satisfied and well fed, worth the 5* !

The best bar staff ever. The food is bar food so don’t get too critical. Fantastic music in the background I wanted to ask several times “Who is this playing?”. Love this place and hope to return one day.

Great place with good bar food and happy hour. Good to catch a sporting game especially the NFL games if you are traveling over the pond
