Pitahayas

Every time we stay at this resort, we try to eat here. This time was no different. Had a 7:15 seating which is late for us and we were super hungry after a long day playing golf. Sat in the bar and had an outstanding cucumerbertini. Asked for bread or we were going to start gnawing on the furniture. Got seated immediately at 7:15. Four of us in the group, we ordered two beat salad appetizers to share and then 4 blackened fish dinners. It took for-ev-er!!!! The beat salad was very good. Next the entrees showed up, 2 of them. We politely told the waiter that we ordered 4 and were a little too hungry to share. They took them back (I 'm sure they went under the kitchen light to keep warm) and we then received the worst food ever. The fish needed a knife to cut through, the vegetables were bland and chewy, and the herbed rice was like little pellets. We spoke to the manager who billed us for the apps and three bottled water, of which we didn 't order. After much debate, we weren 't charged and went back to the room to have peanut butter and crackers. The place is beautiful, with the water heard crashing on the shore. Not sure what happened but I suggest such an expensive menu- grab a drink and eat somewhere else. Super unhappy! No apologies were offered by management

I didn't have any dinner here but came in here for a quick martini and it was so beautiful Nice atmosphere the best part about it was the music was all 80s if only they could've put it louder I would've stayed here all night but I was there waiting on the shuttle to go into town I'm not sure but if this restaurant has an upstairs then I actually did eat here last week they specially made me tamales It was very windy upstairs but I'm really not sure if this was the same place I ate at and if it was then I did have the food and it was really good

Everything about the experience was first class; the incredible food (Short Ribs for me, Sea Bass for my wife) the gorgeous oceanside view and the personable and attentive staff. Saul took care of us like royalty and made it the best dining experience we had while we were in Cabo. Great place, don't miss it!

One of the highlights of our annual pilgrimage to Cabo is a kid less dinner at Pitahayas. How much better does it get than being on a beach side terrace with sweeping views of the Sea of Cortez, watching the sunset, under a huge thatched wigwamy outdoor shelter savoring delicious eclectic gems with a warm breeze flowing around you. But it gets better! The service is wonderful in that equatorially hospitable way. It's a spacious yet intimate and romantic atmosphere. Once the sun goes down and it gets downright chilly, they bring out heat lamps and wrap you up with soft wool shawls. That way, you're not in a rush to skip dessert. Afterward, a stroll on the beach, waves crashing straight from the Cialis marketing team but hopefully without the lechy dude. Gorgeous place, epic scenery, crave able food, warm and gracious service. Ah I wish I were there now...

My wife and I have dined at Pitahayas every year since they opened, and the quality of the food is always superb. The setting is a stunning restaurant said just off the beach of the sea of Cortez was waves crashing on the beach. Inventive cocktails complement their Mexican pacific fusion cuisine. We have never had anything less than a five star meal, five star cuisine and five star service at this amazingly consistent restaurant experience.
