Burgoin Time Sashimis

Was recommended by friends IT WAS INCREDIBLE. Not near the main tourist areas, but absolutely worth the drive. I thought the ambience was neat, the service was so welcoming and friendly, and most importantly, the food was delicious. I live in Mexico City and the closest quality I can think of is Contramar, and even this is fresher as I understand his family catches what he’s serving right here. A must-have experience for anyone looking to feel at home while they 're far away from home. It 's a no frills sashimi fiesta. Chef Fernando introduces himself and first begins his mantra esta é a sua casa . He continues to remind you this is also your home until you really do feel at home. Ask to connect your phone to the Bluetooth but you better bring your best songs. Fernando slices the Tuna high in a floral arrangement sorrounding a spiraling sliced avocado. Itself, a work of art. And then you chop stick your way through cuts of sashimi lightly cured from Fernando 's homemade ceviche-style vinaigrette. Bring your own booze but just make sure to give the chef a taste. And if you 're lucky like me you might just get a glint of the full moon through a gap in the tarps stretched across the roof while falling in love with a brown eyed girl. If you 're so lucky... Did I mention their 's an outhouse?? And if you 're not a seafood person like my friend, Fernando is more than happy to put an order in of Tacos from the shop nextdoor.
