This is a lovely tearoom situated near the abbey, on the college grounds. I really adore the charming little chairs!

Eating in the open in the inn in ampleforth abbey is so atmospheric on a beautiful day. the afternoon is tasty with a 3 animal cake stand loaded with tasty. was so excited to visit again, but will be there as soon as the shield was raised.
They were very apologetic when they realized that the wrong suppe was on the board. it does not play a role, as the celery soup was in the main taste, it only took a little more celery (or perhaps the addition of some celeriac.) the chips were the most beautiful chips we had for a long time. the brot was perfect for suppe and our little dog was allowed in the court area with us so that we could enjoy our lunch without having to worry about them.
