On all three occasions the restaurant was not ve... read more We went to this restaurant 3 times for lunch in August. Two times, the food was good, one time it was terrible. On all three occasions the restaurant was not very full and finding a table was easy. The place seems understaffed and on all three occasions we had difficulty in finding the single waitress to seat us at a table. She possibly could have been doing double service duty in the adjacent bar. On all three occasions we elected the menu of the day, which is very economically priced. The food was quite good on two visits. The third visit was a disaster. Both guests ordered fritos , which were basically fried bechamel too many and too dry. Then, we ordered two meat dishes as the main courses. Both dishes were inedible with incredibly tough cuts of meat. Our impressions of the cleanliness of the cutlery and the glassware were also poor on the third visit. There appeared to be definite signs of a change in the restaurant since the first two visits.
