I ordered the waffle and was disappointed to find that it appeared to have been cooked in a panini press, resulting in a thin, pancake-like texture. The prefabricated batter seemed to have been made with protein powder containing Stevia, which gave it a less-than-favorable taste. The waffle itself had a strange flavor, resembling unroasted sesame seeds, Chia seeds, and salt. Overall, it was not a good experience.

While I appreciate having vegan options, I think it would be better to just use a regular waffle recipe with plant-based milk and egg substitutes instead of trying to add extra protein and chia seeds. This would be a simpler and tastier option.

Amity does not have many vegan options, but this place is a large breakfast place. Besides waffles with blows and fillings you can mix and fit, they have coffee with a variety of non-dairy milk options. If you have work to do, they also have Wi-Fi available. If it is beautiful outside, there is a cute outdoor seating area in the back terrace.
