Where we live in New Zealand, Japanese style food is everywhere but that is... read more Taking a break from our efforts to find a hotel, we stumbled across this restaurant. Where we live in New Zealand, Japanese style food is everywhere but that is not the case in France. We were shown a table and it was explained to us...we could pay a fixed price and order any number of items a maximum of 5 times if you wanted to. The fixed price menu had a lot of different items you could choose and order 5 times if you wanted to so it seemed a good offer. If you did not want to do that you could also order from an a la carte menu choice. We chose the fixed price, multi choice offer. The food was tasty, well presented and the cooked items were cooked properly. It is a good concept that you can order something again if you enjoyed the first item. The servings are small but after a few, you do start to feel satisfied so I do not think too many people could eat 5 of all that is on offer and that is not the objective of this restaurant. It is a great place to go with friends and share and try different items. The way it is done is good value. Each time you order, your card is marked for that item to keep track on how many times it is ordered. The waitress was excellent, informative, helpful and friendly and spoke very good English which helped a great deal. Well worth a visit to this place for service, value and to give them support for being daring enough to try the concept.

It's cheap. The wine is good value. The room is hard and canteen like so why do I say don't go? If every member of staff will not take the time to show you how to order on the nasty order pad and are rude as well they shouldn't have business. Sadly they always will because it's full of students in term time who could give a flying nuck about whether they're rude or not. They won't get my money
