The open kitchen view and food were both fantastic. Our waitress was personable attentive and all while being quite busy. Everything was wonderful. We both have restaurant/hospitality backgrounds and had no complaints for my birthday dinner. One gleaming point though with front of house hostess. Toss the gum. Watching her green gum bounce around her mouth was a poor choice for first impressions. This was our best vis... View all feedback.
What RichardL doesn't like about Wildfire Grillhouse & Lounge:
The food was good. Service attentive. We shared a pizza for appetizer. It was very tasty. The chicken Frangelico very good. The rack of lamb very tasty if pricey but it was a full rack cooked perfectly. View all feedback.
Caesar salat was unique, very good dressing we had 3 different steak cuts ordered on our table. the third coarsely overdue. when this was pointed out to the server, it was acknowledged and apologised for, reasonably replaced quickly and freely given desert. that's the one that's gone to deal with misery. desert baked cheesecake was excellent. overall will return and would recommend.
Large selection of foods, both in appetizers and netzen, my first time there, but would definitely recommend.
Last week we used a gift certificate for our date night, and we had a nice time. other then our amazing server that was so happy and bubbly there was nothing that weave. The new england clam chowder was watery and not much taste, no pieces of everything in it except what seemed to be 1 kartoffel. the caesar salad was good, and I liked the eggless dressing, it was tangy and full of taste, different, but it worked. the mustels that my man had were okay, the aromen were a little strange, but he said it was okay. his striploin steak was good, nothing special or amazing. I loved my laugh, he had a lot of taste and was not too fishy. overall it was good, only glad that we did not get the high prices for what we got. not sure that we would decide to eat there again, as we both felt for the price that it was not worth.
Reservation through open table for our party of 4 was not recognized. Waited 20min for a table. Hostess sat us but we passed a square booth on the way. Asked if we could have the booth, she said yes but it just needed to be cleaned. She had it cleaned while we waited then another hostess sat a different party of 2 there. Little mix up. Sat at a round booth shortly after that. Food cold. Glazed pork was supposed to be medium but was well done and dry, however tasty. Trout special portion was small but the girls were content. Owner was acting as bartender. Drinks not up to par. Too much ice although they did comp me a drink, when I indicated I was not happy with first one. Thank you! The B52 specialty coffee was not a full mug but was very good. I feel the prices are a bit high for the quality and portion sizes. Ambiance, decor and cleanliness is very good. Our waiter was quite good just delays in getting drinks and water. Overall experience was ok! We typically tip 20% and this night we still did. I believe the restraint was full and very busy due to Valentines weekend. This could be why everything was sub par. Will I go back or recommend? Not for some time.
We are regulars at Wildfire and always enjoy our experience there. Kevin always treats us very well.
