I went to Cook Out for a late lunch and ordered a double burger. Sadly, the Cajun fries were stale and had a hair in them. Also, the server, Jasmin, was unfriendly and a bit rude—her attitude could definitely use some improvement.

The food at Cook Out was enjoyable, but the customer service left much to be desired during my visit yesterday (9/26). Small courtesies like saying "thank you" and "you're welcome" really make a difference in the overall dining experience. I noticed there was only one cashier on duty, which might suggest they were short-staffed or busy. Still, that doesn’t excuse rude behavior towards customers. The menu offers good options, but better service would make the experience even better.

Overall, this restaurant is a great option for college students seeking late-night snacks. However, I wish the milkshakes were blended a bit more, as the toppings tend to get caught in the narrow straws.

I always enjoy the Big Double with everything on it. In my opinion, their burger is better than McDonald's, Hardee's, and Wendy's. Burger King and Cook Out are close, but for the past 40 days, I’ve chosen Cook Out when eating out at work. Just make sure to check the bag for their delicious sauce for the onion rings—it’s even better than Burger King's!

Cook Out burgers aren’t my favorite by any means, but if you go for the specials—like the 99-cent double burger and the 99-cent shake (watermelon flavor today)—it’s one of the most affordable meals around! You’ve got to love that!
