Carter's Fried Chicken - Americus

4/27/22 stopped by the drive drum, the dame could hardly understand, as the loudspeaker was too loud. sa in line about 5 minutes waiting to place my order, after about 10 minutes it made a window. there was no friendly reception, nothing. She just told me how much my order was. I had waited 10 minutes to get my order. She just said you were here, nothing about the long waiting period, no thanks, nothing, not even a smile. so I said, I wonder if the restaurant is under new ownership or management. I never had to wait on the drive-thru with such an unfriendly service.

Good chicken. Great value, 2 piece chicken 2 sides, roll and large drink under $8. Everything was piping hot and tasty.

Delicious, fresh juicy fried chicken and yummy sides, great friendly service, awesome prices. Wish we lived here so we could come back!!!

I am not from there traveling through there I got two chicken liver and two sacks pieces .get to the window it different to dinners it was 24.89 chicken was not cook well Mac cheese was a bright color orange I never seen mac cheese that color the chicken liver had turned green that’s not a sign of fresh liver that also could be poison so I tried to call back no one to answer the phone so what I need to do is the poster you can’t serve someone something that looks in this horrible condition and you call yourself a soulful restaurant the better paper I will dispute it on my credit card

I have been a regular customer of theirs since I moved to Americus. I have really liked this place but after today I'm afraid to go back. Not only have they gone up on their prices but I got home today after my blood sugar was dropping, I was hungry and shaky to find that a piece of my chicken was eaten to the bone with obvious bite marks on it. I knew if I took a picture or tried to bring it back I would not only have to fight my way through a large crowd of people but no one is going to believe me. I'm upset because food is expensive and covid is on the rise. This was done on purpose. There's no doubt in my mind.
