Best calamari I've ever had. Wasn't tough and batter was delicious with the sweet chili sauce provided. Sushi rolls were on point and serving sizes were plentiful. Try the mango lemonade (made in-house) for a refreshing beverage. Waitress was quick and stayed on top of our tablet like a hawk. We will definitely be back. View all feedback.
What Dean P doesn't like about Tapa Sushi Japanese Cuisine:
Had delivered and pictures do not match quality of product which is horrible . Do not order from this place or they need to figure out their to go strategy. Typical try and do the to gos on the cheap and it's pathetic. View all feedback.
1. Very quick service 2. Food was pretty average 3. Pricing was pretty average 4. Appetizers were amazing (calamari, gyoza) 5. Good seating, good mood lighting. Honestly, it just wasn't my favorite sushi place but it wasn't terrible! I didn't think the rolls had as much flavor as I was hoping.
The sushi is always good and tastes as fresh as anywhere around. Prices are fair and the selection is good. My wife doesn’t love sushi but really likes their teriyaki chicken and the gyoza. Great flavors, quick service for take out but it can be noisy and occasionally feel like the servers get overloaded. We eat here about once a month and is in our top 3 local sushi places. I don’t typically write reviews, but after reading reviews from others of how good this food was I felt compelled. There are 3 Asian restaurants near Tapa Sushi. Tapa Sushi is by far the worst. I actually threw the food away because of how bad it was. They have sushi in the name of their restaurant, yet you can get better quality out of a grocery store. I really don’t feel great writing this, but after spending $52 on two dinners and two sushi rolls, I feel an obligation to other potential consumers.
