I had a terrible day on Thursday. I won't go into details but I left school early (around 8:50pm) to get here because I needed some ice cream. I sped here bawling and got there at 9:03 when they close at 9. Fruit soup was awful. Too sour. I feel like they didn’t let the fruit age properly. Yung Gravy would not approve.
Cold stone is great. Everyone knows them as one of the original ice cream places and now Utah County has tons of options. So why pick Cold Stone over things like Subzero, Handel’s, Leatherby’s, etc? They aren’t going to have the variety of flavors of a premium ice cream like Rockwell or Brooker’s. They are cheaper than them however. Came in for a birthday treat, with an emailed BOGO coupon in hand. The coupon simply stated to show it, and that you may be asked for your ID. Fine. Employees could not figure out how to apply the coupon. They tried, but no one knew how to handle this standard coupon. We ended up paying for the ice cream that we were supposed to get for free (we even ordered the larger size, for this reason! , because nothing else could be done, and the line was building behind us.
