We love Avenue Bakery at my office. We've found that they're amazing for gluten free options too which is a win! I plan corporate events and we have catered donuts here lots. It's great every time. View all feedback.
What Sarah L doesn't like about Avenue Bakery:
Food is decent. Donuts are good. But service lost all the points. Rudest girl ever honestly. It is literally 12:30 and they weren 't serving the soup because they 're still cleaning up from breakfast you mean the soup that is likely already made and no one heated up? They 're lunch menus weren 't up (at 12:15 pm) because they were still cleaning up from breakfast. Half the tables were gross and uncleaned. The line go... View all feedback.
I stopped in today to try some of their gluten-free menu. After trying a gluten-free snickerdoodle cookie and gluten-free cinnamon roll I would say they are just okay. But I was frustrated when I had to ask for a refund on the burger I ordered after I waited for over 30 minutes. When I asked for the refund the cashier checked with the kitchen and notified them to not start making my burger...which means it probably would have been another 10 minutes to get the food. It's a cute cafe, but the service was very slow despite it being 2:00 in the afternoon and it not being very busy.
We came here for breakfast and some bakery treats. We were not disappointed!! I had the mixed berry crepe. It was filled with cream and had a nice serving of berries on top. The prices are very reasonable and the counter staff are helpful and friendly. I ended my meal with. pistachio macaroon and a to go box of GF for my granddaughter. This will be my new go-to place to bring visitors.
My wife and I were pleasantly surprised by the Avenue Bakery. The atmosphere was inviting, and staff was incredibly friendly. We enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back. This being said it could definitely be cleaner, especially the restrooms. As for the food, my wife got the Farmhouse skillet and I got the crispy chicken biscuits and gravy. Everything was fresh and tasty, but the potatoes in my wife’s dish were not all cooked all the way through. The crispy chicken biscuits and gravy had excellent flavor, but texture issues as the fluffy biscuit and heavy gravy completely covered up the “crispy chicken”. All in all, a good meal, but if they were to simplify their menu a bit and focus on doing half the number of dishes currently offer and made sure they made them twice as good as they do now, this would take them to the next level for sure.

The line got to the door before someone else started taking orders. It 's unfortunate she was so awful, cause the food is pretty good. (In this gets addressed, it was the girl with the septum and brown hair.)Update: only the donuts were good. Bagel was hard and disappointing.
Best gluten free bread in town! Also we love their unique desserts! We take our kids here for all special occasions!
