This is a little mountain restaurant above Amden. The food is very good and the selection sufficient to satisfy everybodies taste. It is easy to reach via the cable lift from downtown Amden if one does not want to do sometimes steep walking, because it is the mountain station of the lift. The view is stunning across the northern Swiss Alps and Lake Walensee. About 1 hour drive fromf Zurich. View all feedback.

Das Restaurant Walau liegt hoch oberhalb von Amden bei der Bergstation der Mattstock Sesselbahn. Von der Terrasse kann man den Ausblick über den Walensee und die umliegenden Berge geniessen.Bei unserem Besuch war die Bedienung freundlich, aber nicht besonders schnell. Wenn wir nochmals in Amden sind würden wir uns aber wieder für dieses Restaurant entscheiden.
