From the way to visit the castle, we landed on the terrace, first to enjoy an aperitif (délicieuse) board and then to take the aperitif. The waitresses and the manager are adorable, helpful and welcomed us with a smile. We really enjoyed being on this small terrace! Thank you! View all feedback.

We stopped for some artisanal ice cream, the taste of the ice cream was perfect, the service was friendly, everything we were looking for!

Perfect spot for a crêpe break between sightseeing. The set menu is very reasonably priced compared to other restaurants nearby, and it has a view of the castle. We thoroughly enjoyed our crêpes and received a very warm welcome. Thank you!

Established in Amboise for a few months, Pause Caffè is our favorite base. Cheaper than in neighboring establishments, pleasant staff, and fast service when attendance permits! THANKS...

A good place for people watching on a lively beautiful evening opposite the burg ramps. Service is good and they have a wide selection of not only basic drinks, but many in cocktails.

Stop here for some refreshing tea and cakes, all very well with an excellent selection of tea and also an excellent selection of cakes, service was good and staff are friendly.
A coke zero will cost you the price of a beer. The owner argued with her employee to change the TV channel on our demand. Not only that, she changed the channel back, explained that it was her establishment and had the right to observe what she wanted. A bit surreal....Hard to believe that she can manage a grocery store and be so rude and not to be customer-friendly.
I have been visiting Pause Caffe for years and it never disappoints. A wide selection of sandwiches and panini, served by friendly and helpful staff. The formule lunches are a good choice a sandwich, can of soft drink and a sugar crepe for €8.50....If the weather permits you can sit outside and enjoy the fantastic view of the Chateau Royal d'Amboise.
