What a phenomenal find! The bar (craft cocktails), building, restaurant is gorgeous. Old stone mixed with modern posh amenities. The food is TRUE authentic Italian- my son closed his eyes at bread course (grilled Roman bread with ricotta honey for A Scarpetta) and said, “mom this tastes like Italy!” We shared and tasted so many things, antipasto, starters, the salads were fresh, perfect vinaigrettes, the pastas sauce... What Garland Melinda doesn't like about Tresini:
We went for a double date on Friday night for dinner. Although the service was good and the place is beautiful, the food was disappointing. The appetizers were better than the main courses. We went here for a work dinner last week. Great food and service. The draft negronis and arrabiata were standouts for

The tastiest item, the spinach dip, was a small crock that was only half full $14.00), and in order to have something to dip in it, you have to pay an extra $4.50 to get bread. Two of us got the Dorade fish, both thought it was far too salty. The pasta with octopus looked good but the octopus was too rubbery to cut, let alone chew. Ravioli in brown butter was also overly salty. I think this place might be better for happy hour than for a full meal. On the plus side, there's plenty of parking.

The food is TRUE authentic Italian- my son closed his eyes at bread course (grilled Roman bread with ricotta honey for A Scarpetta) and said, “mom this tastes like Italy!” We shared and tasted so many things, antipasto, starters, the salads were fresh, perfect vinaigrettes, the pastas sauces all legit, homemade from scratch and perfectly Al dente. They dry-age their beef too which is exceptional. For dessert we had tiramisu budino affogato- a perfect ending. We will be back and would recommend to friends. The staff was great too, just the right amount of attentiveness. It was a joyful delicious experience at Tresini.
Do yourself a favor and go try this place! From the moment you walk in and the aromas hit you to the service I wish I remembered our server's name but she was so lovely and fun to the food, the most important part, the food. I feel like only a poet can accurately relay what the food tastes like. The bread, the dips, the pasta and salmon special. My god, my pallet was on a roller coaster.I will say, the dessert was not my favorite mint cannoli and tiramisu and could skip next time which is totally fine and can be compensated with MORE food gladly. But that is not enough for me to take stars off or not come back, this place knows how to bring flavors together and I will definitely be back to enjoy more dishes I didn't try.
