I really enjoy this restaurant. It's hard to find a properly hot cappuccino, but this place nails it. The cappuccino here is perfect - hot and frothy. The food is also delicious and beautifully presented. And if you're a chocolate fan, this is the place for you. View all feedback.

I was very disappointed with the woman who claimed that her brownies were subpar compared to the French cafe, which was ranked number 2 on the list. However, I rated it as average because the woman's friend was extremely good-looking, but she herself was mediocre. View all feedback.
Tea and scone nice but the downstairs toilet was out of order and the upstairs one looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months. Won’t be visiting again

Our favorite place to eat in Belper. The beef chilli nachos are absolutely delicious! The chicken fajitas were packed with peppers and onions, served with salad, guacamole, and sour cream, and were incredibly tasty. They also offer lovely fresh scones, brownies, and amazing chocolates and homewares.
Afternoon tea to die for! Came with some friends for afternoon tea and must say, this place is a hidden gem. We have had many afternoon teas in places all over the country but this one beats them all! The quality, the presentation, the service, I couldn’t fault anything. As the place is known for chocolate you even get a delicious pot of gooey chocolate to dip strawberries and marshmallows in. Our friends were utterly impressed and so were we. We will definitely be back. Thank you for such a wonderful afternoon.
We went here during Belper Pride . Having decided what to order , I went in to order it . There were about 5 people behind the counter and one customer in front . Once he was gone , I waited for some one to serve me . They were busy trying to get their orders in the right order with the magnets . I waited. One was cutting some rainbow cake in the window . I waited . One left the counter without giving me eye contact . One decided to crack on with making coffee orders . I initially thought ok they are busy but it became clear they were doing their very best ignoring strategy . I waited but it got silly and I left and said we are not eating here as I’ve been completely ignored. If you want to be ignored this is the place to go. Oddly they happily served the man in front of me . As a Belper resident , I won’t be returning.
