My or... read more Visited this restaurant on October 7th. We chose to sit outside, which was very enjoyable. Upon entering, I ordered a tea and coffee from a friendly lady. My order came to approximately £5.50 and was delivered promptly. Unfortunately, my partner's cup was dirty, so she requested a replacement. Although a new cup was provided quickly, it was also not clean. Additionally, the teaspoons were stained. We decided not to complain again. It is disappointing that serving beverages in clean cups with clean utensils seemed to be a challenge for this restaurant. We would have preferred to visit Costa where cleanliness is guaranteed. As a result, we do not plan on returning.

The staff is very friendly, and while the restaurant is small, they offer takeaways when there are no tables available. The menu is not extensive, but perfect if you're looking for coffee and cake (the homemade scones are amazing)!! Definitely worth a visit to support this small local business.

Lovely atmosphere, great decor and friendly staff add to the experience. For anyone who enjoys a good cup of coffee then at Amber you will get a GREAT cup of coffee; you won 't want to go back to one of those big high street chains. Good prices and home made produce to a very high standard. Coffee for 'on-the-go ' or sit, chat and chill.But be warned; this is fast becoming a popular place to visit, so you may not always get a table. But isn 't a full coffee shop usually a sign of quality and popularity! Well worth a try. It 's certainly my choice from now on when I 'm in Ripley.
