This place is amazing to visit. Make sure whenever you visit you have planned to walk for roughly 1.5 hours to 2 hours as the place is full of scenic views and the place looks amazing during evening times. You will love the scenes here and probably end up spending 2 to 3 hours here.... View all feedback.
This fort is really AMAZING, you could spend easily 2 days if you like to do trekking. We would have love to walk around the whole wall but it is 36km long and only had 3-4h at this place and did not know if all part of the wall were in good condition. But apparently you can see some wild life, we mainly saw monkeys, birds and cows
Place is magical. The climb to the palace, especially the terrace was awesome, maybe a little challenging for elderly people. Windy, lovely view of the entire fort and surrounding mountains. Walk on the massive 12km long grand walls is enjoyable. Bunch of beautiful Hindu and Jain temples within the fort. The tickets can be booked online or paid in cash at the entry.
It was a cool experience. The fort is beautifully preserved. The lack of touts makes it more appealing. Be prepared to walk for considerable distances over steep inclines. The surface is not pram or wheelchair friendly. The fort itself and the structures inside temples and palaces and the famous 36 km fortification itself are amazing. You can easily spend 3 4 hours here. The one downside is the shops selling refreshments do so at a massive markup, so it is advisable to bring your own water and snacks if you can. Otherwise, a beautiful experience, do not miss it.
A nice place to meet the history and chill with family and friends. There are small hotels for snacks, washroom is also available but it's not clean at all. Best time to visit during rainy season or winter season. Entry ticket is Rs.40 per person. The palace is also called great wall of India it stretches in 36km.
