You may plan to take halt on Delhi-Amritsar/Chandigarh Highway NH-1 for some time to relax. Although many options are available on this highway and at Ambala but this is no exception. An average restaurant with average food. Ample parking space is available. Washrooms are well maintained. Ambience is good. You will be impressed by the outlook of the Restaurant. A big place. What Sapna Thakkar doesn't like about Mirchi Restaurant:
Found cockroach in dal ,worst place no interior, it was like normal dhaba still very costly.. I saw people were fighting with manager for poor quality of food.. Thanks to Mr cockroach who saved my life by not taken a single bite View all feedback.
A nice place with great ambience & food quality with fast service. Feels like home. Must stay while travelling on highway
This restaurant had been the favorite of my in laws and was invited for dinner by them. The menu is regular North Indian. Definitely not a fine dine. The service is fast and i mean lightning fast. The reason can be that many government buses stop over here for a break and they have things fresh and ready to serve. So my experience was a tasty regular North Indian Punjabi food served hot, tasty and really quick. The prices are very nominal and value for money. Recommended to travellers and foodies.

The restaurant has a big entrance. It also has two to three party halls that are also big. The food quality is not so good. But, the Cafe Coffee Day near it is very good.
Stopped for a while enroute Chandigarh from Delhi for a quick bite. The ambience was good. Food was not much pricey, but the taste belied the hope of a satisfying lunch. It was just average or even below average. The green salad was cut hours before and not fresh. Tandoori roti could be made better, so was the case with butter chicken. If one has an option, better to avoid this 'Mirchi'.
