Gulab Sweets - Ambāla

This is not a full fledged Restaurant,Its a Sweetshop & along with that they have opened a small fast food types restaurant,these guys can not maintain the standard as compared to their opening days.But you should try their sweets.You will get to see good variety but it is expensive.

Gulab Sweets offers quality sweets and snacks. The food is very tasty and prices are reasonable also.

Gulab famous for sweets in Chandigarh and around. Although rates are on higher side but you get quality . Good variety of sweets are available and nicely packed. Good for ceremonial/happy occasions and marriages. Ambala branch needs improvements for sure. You have local options even better than Gulab.

We had a family dinner on Oct 25,2014. The entry to restaurant was not good (througha sideways staircase) so as the ambience in restaurant. The temprature was not well maintained. As the people start coming, swaeting start rising in the restaurant. Meal served was average and was not hot as it should be if freshly prepared. Dal Makhani was looking like prepared either in the morning or on the previous day. Service was also average. Drinking water (normal) served was stinking. Drinking water glasses in crockery were of different size. You have to wait for time in case you have repeated your order for bread. Paneer butter Masal was looking like Shahi Paneer in taste. In nutshell,Gulab Sweets and Restaurant (Ambala Branch) not a value restaurant as compared to its price for items but in the meantime, good for snacks

If you have a sweet tooth, this restaurant is a great choice. The sugar levels are just right, not overwhelming. The hygiene standards are excellent.
