Came down here for a Sunday lunch. Good food and good ambience. The service is a tad slow but that is true for most restaurants in this part. Recommended to stick to Indian food. View all feedback.
However during evenings the place becomes bit crowdy. There is a attached balcony where one can sit and view mountains and also enjoy eating. During breakfast, omlette preparation takes lot of time.
This is the in house multi-cuisine restaurant @ Winnies holiday resort in Kasauli , 3km from Dharampur on Kasauli road .The USP is the sky deck from where one can enjoy a panoramic view of the Kasauli hills above & lush green pristine valley below & experience the serene mountains of Kasauli, while enjoying a sumptuous meal in one of the calmest & cleanest restaurants in Kasauli. The greenery of numerous native alpine flora species is a balm for dust - weary souls. A haven of tranquility amidst green pine forests, the only sounds being the wind softly rustling among the trees & the distant calls of birds. As your eyes rest on the misty skies & magnificent sunsets, the cool, pine scented air revives you as you admire the breathtaking hills & the green valleys. There is a choice of Indian, Chinese & Continental cuisines at the restaurant. We tried the chefs special mushroom & cheese kurkure , but were hugely disappointed bcoz of its lack of flavour & bland taste , but rest of the food items were good. The mutton curry is excellent & cooked to perfection with tender & succulent pieces of meat & is a must try for carnivores. Their Chinese fried rice&choupsey tastes great , but the noodles lack flavour.Fish & chips tasted average. They have an extensive bar menu & also serve a variety of fizzy mocktails. Also , they have a well stocked glass house bar .The staff is friendly & courteous & fresh non spicy foods for kids can be ordered easily on request. The service is a bit slow , but the freshly cooked food is definitely worth the wait. Children are special guests here as they can enjoy gazing the numerous golden fish in the aquarium .One can also go on nature trails around the resort.

Kasauli does not have much to offer in term of eating joints apart from a few local well known eateries. We decided to hit cliff Houzz Restaurant and Bar after reading all the positive reviews on Trip Advisor. This restaurant is housed with Winnies Holiday Inn. The ambiance is good and decor is beautifully done. Since we were tired of indian food we decided to order continental. We had ordered fish and chips, grilled fish for ourselves and the elderly members in the group decided to settle for indian food with the usual boondi raita, mixed vegetables and rice. We also ordered virgin mojito. The virgin mojito was very refreshing. The food was good. The fish and chips was better than the grilled fish. All in all a refreshing change than the usual available in Kasauli.
We stayed in the hotel and had our breakfast and dinner here throughout our stay. Excellent food with impeccable service.
