Sushi Go - Amaroo
Sushi Go
Description
Nestled in Amaroo, this sushi train restaurant offers a mixed bag of experiences. While some guests praise its fresh offerings and reasonable prices, others lament the lack of attentiveness in service and the restaurant's overall upkeep. The menu presents a decent selection, with highlights including the chicken karaage and unique items like preserved baby octopus. Despite its shortcomings, many loyal patrons appreciate the welcoming atmosphere and the quick service during busy periods. For an accessible introduction to Japanese cuisine, this spot may still be worth a try, though customers should manage their expectations regarding service consistency.

Overall, it was a disappointing experience. The food showed little thought or attention to flavor, the service was minimal and delivered with a frown, and the restaurant itself seemed neglected and in need of upkeep. I don't plan on returning anytime soon. The only dish worth mentioning was the chicken karaage. Food: 2, Service: 2, Atmosphere: 2.
This restaurant offers a great selection of fresh and delicious sushi at reasonable prices! Overall, I would rate the meal type for lunch with a perfect 5 for food, service, and atmosphere.
17/1 Don’t waste your time, we walked out. Walked in at 1150 with a few tables already taken. No one greeted or even looked at us. I asked the lady making sushi if we could have the table cleaned. She came out and did it with no response or talking and went back to making. Then sat down, no one came over to us, gave us menus or even made eye contact. Only two people in there were making sushi. Wasn’t enough at that point to even help ourselves off the train to start eating. After 5 minutes we got up and walked out. Went to Sushi Muse instead and had a great experience.
