The... read more I chose this establishment because I try to not eat empty carbohydrates and barbecue always works but the menu includes burgers, steaks, chicken and salads. The food was very good. Service was very friendly. The amounts we're good. The prices average alittle more than $10 per plate though big steaks are more. Chicken fried steak was a little less.

The owner doesn't care if his customers are satisfied.

We really enjoyed our stop at Trail Boss during our cross-country tour. On our initial visit, I tried the BBQ, which was excellent—tender meat full of flavor. They offer four different sauces that are all great, but the meat is delicious even without any sauce. Today, I had the chicken fried steak, which is one of the better ones I've had in Amarillo, served with rich, thick gravy and flavorful mashed potatoes. I highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a pleasant, quiet atmosphere and very friendly staff.
