Saltgrass Steak House - Amarillo

Delicious food, good and friendly servers, and a clean, pleasant atmosphere.

We enjoyed a delicious dinner on a Friday night. I ordered the Ribeye steak which was grilled perfectly. My side dishes were a loaded baked potato and house salad, both were very tasty. For dessert I had a slice of the best carrot cake I've had in town. I just gave 4 stars since their air conditioner couldn't keep up with the crowded restaurant on a very hot, humid evening. Other than that issue, we will definitely return to the Saltgrass again.

Needs updating and it was very hot in there I had to get a Togo box because it was to uncomfortable to eat our dinner

The decor was fairly typical of a steakhouse, with lots of old ranching equipment hung on the walls etc. The food was quite delicious, and the service was stellar.

We ate at Saltgrass after a very long day of driving. It was the perfect fit for what we needed. Most of all our server Austin was so very kind and welcoming! He made our visit memorable.
