El Patron - Amarillo

We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The service was incredibly quick and the food was delicious with amazing flavors. I ordered flautas and my husband got asada tacos, both were excellent. The spicy salsa was a standout, although be warned - it packs quite a punch!

We visited El Patron for the first time to celebrate our 7th anniversary, and I highly recommend it! We ordered the Amazing Trio Fajitas for two and they were delicious. Both the shrimp and steak had fantastic flavor. We also tried the guacamole, which was also very tasty. My only suggestion would be to choose the corn tortillas over the flour ones, as the latter tasted cheap. However, when we got half corn and half flour, the dish tasted much better. Overall, I was very impressed with our experience. The server was polite and efficient, and our food arrived quickly. I do wish they had some spicier salsas, like a green one. I will definitely return to try more of the menu items!

The staff is extremely friendly and polite! This was my first visit on July 1st, 2022. The food was delicious, starting from the chips and salsa to the guisada plate I ordered. The dos margarita was delicious! The Mexican candy shot was also very tasty. Our waiter was laid-back, pleasant, and very attentive. Thank you for the wonderful food and excellent service!

My first experience was good, just had appetizer and drinks. Second experience the waitress was not attentive nor friendly. She brought out the qeso after being reminded several times and was cold. My third experience was so much better. Coincidentally had the same waitress as before. She was friendly and attentive this time. The food was great. I have never had a chicken quesadilla that actually had lots of chicken in it, they were perfectly made. Their drinks were perfectly refreshing.

Wonderful food, hospitality, seating, drinks, affordable for any price range. First time here. Won't be the last! They even had a scary situation (diners pulled out a 45 caliber gun at their party Yet everyone remained calm and collective and professional. I wished I had taken a picture of the food as the presentation was spot on. From the chips and salsa (the salsa is superb! More garden natural flavor, not mass production to the appetizer and main course, best quality and service in Amarillo at El Patron. I'm stuffed! The bar drinks are portion perfect. Tab was less than $90 for 2 people, with half being bar tab! including tip! We had a margarita pitcher shared with four shot drinks! (10 full glasses total! .
