Burrito Stop - Amarillo

Best tortillas in Amarillo that I have tried. The Meaty burrito with barbacoa is simply the best I?ve ever had. And, I lived in Austin for 40+ years and eaten many burritos in Austin.

I had been hearing about this restaurant for a while, but I finally visited a few days ago. I mentioned to the young man working there that I had seen their advertisement for a ribeye steak meal for $9.99 and asked if they had any specials that day. He said he could prepare the special for the same price if I wanted, which was perfect! The portion size was generous for the price and I also enjoyed a delicious horchata with my meal. Everything was great and I am excited to go back and try their birria tacos. The staff were all friendly and checked in on me to ensure I was enjoying my meal. The young man who took my order and chatted with me was very helpful and informative when I asked him questions about the restaurant. Although it is not very close to my location, I will make an effort to visit whenever I am in the downtown area.

The service was excellent and the breakfast burritos are the best in town. Everything on their menu is fantastic.

The tortillas were ok, but the price was way too high. I paid $6.50 for a taco-sized burrito that was mostly filled with potato. I requested bacon, but there was barely a half tablespoon of bacon bits inside.
