They kicked me out and attempted to have me arrested simply for having... read more I am extremely disappointed with the way the staff at Chesneys treated me on my birthday. They kicked me out and attempted to have me arrested simply for having a good time! I remember everything clearly. I need to reach out to Oscar to discuss what happened with him and his team. They had three bouncers trying to force me out. I am truly disheartened by my experience there. I will never return, and I will make sure to share my negative experience as much as possible.

Their social media pages are updated frequently, however they are incorrect. Shows they are open for lunch on Saturdays, which they were not on July 3rd. I really wanted to try this place so I saw that they were going to be having live bands on the 3rd. One showed that they were starting at 7 pm and another at 9. We arrived shortly after 7 and I asked about the live music. The hostess said yes it will be later tonight. Ugh. So we were brought to our table. I reviewed the menu online and wanted the pizza egg rolls for an appetizer, wings, strawberry daiquiri, and my husband was going to have a rib eye. Well...they didn't have the ingredients to make the pizza rolls, they were out of wings and ribeyes. And this well stocked bar didn't have a blender to make mixed drinks...WHAT. Anyway I enjoyed my water and my husband his coke and whiskey as well as the coconut shrimp that they did have, which was good. Unfortunately we won't be back. Ended up at the Sod Poodles baseball game and had a hot dog.

Until closing time. i 'm sorry, but I 've spent four years in a division one college town and I have never been kicked out of a bar like I have been Chesney 's Whiskey Saloon. It doesn 't matter if you 've closed out your tab or not at 1:45am you better be walking out the front door. The pool was good, I can 't complain (you only need an ID to get the balls) but at 1:45 you best be making your way to the front. I tried to make a joke with one bouncer and he was entertained. His friend ... not so much... they kicked us out without a chance to close out... might I also add that that bussed our table with my 3/4 full TX pour at about 12:45. I was in town for one night: I 'll make sure I find somewhere else to spend my money on whiskey next time I 'm in town.

When a security staffer decided to remove a patron, they ta... read more I cannot recommend this place. The only changes seem to be the name and the appearance of the venue. When a security staffer decided to remove a patron, they tackled him into a table full of people. As a result, our table and chairs were knocked over, spilling drinks everywhere, and some patrons were thrown against the table. I even got hit by a barstool on my leg. From what I heard, the man who was tackled ended up needing EMT assistance outside. The security staff clearly need better training if they can't handle a situation without endangering others. The $15 cover charge was not worth it; I would have preferred to save my money and go somewhere else to avoid the chaos and the bruise I ended up with.

Like what club doesn’t even have a Square for card payments.The layout is cool, there is a country music side, a Rnb/Hip Hop side and a Latina music side. The deejay on the RnB/Hip Hop slide played so much old music they would of done better playing YouTube or Pandora. An occasional throwback is cool to stretch the playlist but it’s sooooo much new music out that he never played. Update your playlist.Took ten minutes to get a drink, understaffed for such a huge crowd. Needless to say I wouldn’t recommend this place to you unless you are simple stir crazy.

We will be going back for sure
