Lunch on the way home 26. December. It was just before 2:00 and we sat right away. Our service was very friendly and polite. We have our meals very soon after the order. We both had the chicken and shrimp combo with red potatoes. Everything was cooked for perfection. As a bonus we got both “To Go” cup refills. What Amaya Waters doesn't like about Applebee's Grill:
Arrived at 5:15 pm. Was told there was a 20 minute wait. There were 10 tables with people. 2 people at the bar. I asked if I could sit in the bar area knowing that the bartender could serve us drinks. 25 minutes later the bartender came and took our food order. Inside, the situation was just as disappointing. The carpet was in poor shape, and the bathroom floor was so sticky that I had to practically lift my feet off the ground to walk, which created an unpleasant suction sound. Whatever was on the floor stuck to my shoes for quite a while, making a loud noise with every step. While the food was indeed good and the staff friendly, the restaurant's cleanliness and maintenance left much to be desired.
I waited over 15 minutes without anyone coming to take my drink order or check on me. I thought, if it takes this long to get service, what will it be like to get a refill or anything else? So, I ended up leaving the restaurant while the waitstaff were just chatting among themselves.
The tables were dirty and not properly cleaned. We waited 20 minutes for our drinks after being seated, and the manager attempted to clean our table with a napkin. Our appetizer took an hour and a half to arrive after we ordered it. Overall, the service was very disappointing.
Wonderful staff and good food, great happy hour and big menu. We had the pleasure to meet Idonis a wonderful bartender who really care for customers. We had the Fiesta Lime Chicken and the boneless wings, everything was delicious and service was superb!
My cup was not clean there were kids ruining around it took so long for food when know when was even there
