Amarillo's Stockyard Grill

Had the videos seen on various food shows how great the chicken fried steak was on the Stockyards Cafe in Amarillo. It was delicious. Steak was fresh. I'm right. Homemade French fries that were just as great as the steak. Salad was fresh. Service was also excellent. Wing back and thanked the cook for the big steak.

The Stockyard Grill by Amarillo is located in an actual courtyard. You enter the building and it looks like an office and if you are inside, on the left side is the door to the grill that actually looks like a cafeteria. If you sit inside and a server gives you menus like in any restaurant. I like the food there coz it is like your comfort food. Well, my husband and I were there for breakfast and I can say it was a good breakfast in fact! The grill was decorated with western constrictions. A wall had a cow hidden on her and a painting. The server was attentive and the food was good and cost-effective. If you use your GPS, you should be careful as it could take you to the wrong place (what happened to us). Well, I looked around and saw a sign that Stock Yard Grill says. If you are in Amarillo, fall to Stockyard Grill. You will not only enjoy good food, but also about some history of Amarillo-Hof.

When we visited, the food was great as the service. We tried to go today (Sunday, 2/28), but despite it online they were open, they were not so that I would suggest.

This place is delicious and nostalgic. an outside of the away caffe, the old designed burger and breakfast served. I enjoyed the chicken steak with eggs and hay brown. I really enjoyed that coffee and tee were $1.38. the service was also good. I recommend trying this place for the little city experience.

Good food and nice service but the food could’ve been better. The eggs still seamed a little undercooked. The porkchop tasted old and like varnish. And the sausage was dry and tasted different. (Not ordinary) The pancakes were good and the service was great. (As mentioned before) It’s a little hard to get to but otherwise I do recommend coming here. I give them credit because not only was it 10 minutes before they stopped breakfast, but they also removed the porkchops from our ticket.
