This was quite a surprise for where it is located. The town is in the middle of nowhere so you would think they could monopolize on being one of the few restaurants around. The food was amazing, really good menu options and the freshness and quality of food was top notch. Well worth the 45 minute to hour drive from Death Valley for a far superior meal versus what the park offers. This felt like a family run operation... View all feedback.
What Ayana Abshire doesn't like about El Valle:
The pizza at this restaurant has a fun, playful appearance. My 3-year-old enjoyed their light oven-baked pizza. However, the salad was disappointing, as the cheese in it was cut into square pieces resembling cheese cake. View all feedback.
In the last seven days they were on a journey through the grand canyon, mt zion, vegas etc. this is probably the best meal I had all the time. Hole in the wall restaurant except there is no wall, it is only deserted in the middle of nothing. Enjoy a delicious breakfast dinner with fresh ingredients, definitely worth a box stop when they are in or out of the death valley.
Food was awesome but it only had one waiter so took a long time for our food to arrive!
El Valle is a good eating place in a part of the world where good eating places are few and far between. Its taco salad and fajitas are solid. My daughter claims that its crepes are among the best she's ever had anywhere. The restaurant offers breakfast, sandwiches even pizza so the selection here is impressive certainly better than anywhere else in the area. The staff is nice. Because a combination of COVID-19 and redevelopment at Furnace Creek have left the food there really expensive and limited in both quality and selection, we found ourselves dining here each day of our visit to Death Valley. El Valle's building and location are a little bit bleak, and the drive from the park is a little bit long. But, my daughter and I found the trip well worthwhile, especially when you factor in that gasoline is available just down the road at Nevada prices, which, when I write this, are nearly $2.00 per gallon less than they are at Furnace Creek.
El Valle mexican restaurant is a smaller restaurant located out by itself. The food was very good and the price was reasonable. This was our first time to El Valle but I will definitely go back. It appears to be popular with the local people and everyone was friendly and informative. I would guess one of the better restaurants in Amargosa Valley Nevada. Plenty of free parking.
Generally, staff is quite friendly and hospitable ... You'll feel welcomed know you are almost Nowhere' (that's still another 300 miles ESE).I've actually eaten here at least 2 dozen times: Great pizzas, awesome variety of authentic Mexican Cuisine.Yesterday's outing was for a breakfast omelette ... With hot sauce! Yum yum yum.DOH! I should have taken pictures!!!Obviously, I'll be back.
