The sandes de pernil are very good; the migas are fantastic. They also have a nice selection of vinho verde, which is definitely worth a try. They combine all this with a cool ambience. Fado music, and a terrace out back.

Their menu is ideal for snacking as it has a fine selection of petiscos (Portuguese tapas if you will). We had gizzards, roasted peppers, Bacalhau balls, and croquettes. All washed down with some excellent cold beers. It was all very good but, without doubt, the Moelas (chicken gizzard stew) was the star of the show it was fantastic. Service was also very good and the prices most reasonable.

It already feels great just walking into the place and the friendly greeting moves the experience up another notch. A great place to try the region’s signature Vinho Verde wine and some extremely tasty olives and other snacks.
