And... read more This is an excellent local trattoria. No menu card, just a list of three or four primi and secondi etc reeled off by the very efficient and friendly waiter. And the really good news is that the choices were not the normal range of dishes beloved by locals. I had a rolled, stuffed chicken dish as a starter followed by a delicious tagliatelle with duck sauce. Never seen those options on other local restaurants. Good service, good food, good value at €84 for 4 including a very good bottle of DOCG Pecorino. Recommended.

Marco is the best pizza maker (our second youngest Sean will vouch for that). Janetta is so efficient there are no words. Thank you all for making our time in Marche so wonderful. Kalima family

The owners are welcoming, friendly and very tolerant of ou... read more Vecchio Moro is our go-to for cheap, cheerful and delicious local food every time we visit Le Marche. The owners are welcoming, friendly and very tolerant of our rudimentary Italian. They cater well for vegetarians, meat eaters and little ones, and at 4 euros for a litre of the local Rosso Piceno wine, it’s very affordable indeed. The pizza, pasta and primi are all excellent, as are the delicious antipasti. There is a family-friendly atmosphere and a nice outside area for kids to play. Overall it’s one of our family’s happy places and we’re already looking forward to returning!

Very rea... read more We last visited Vecchio Moro 5 years ago, we thought we'd return to see if the pizza was still as good. I'm pleased to report we were not disappointed. Very reasonably priced and a good choice. As before, full of locals having a good time. Think it's a place wel'll keep returning to when we're in Le Marche. Definitely worth visiting.
