The owners are welcoming, friendly and very tolerant of our rudimentary Italian. They cater well for vegetarians, meat eaters and little ones, and at 4 euros for a litre of the local Rosso Piceno wine, it’s very affordable indeed. The pizza, pasta and primi are all excellent, as are the delicious antipasti. There is a family-friendly atmosphere and a nice outside area for kids to play. Overall it’s one of our family’s happy places and we’re already looking forward to returning!

Very rea... read more We last visited Vecchio Moro 5 years ago, we thought we'd return to see if the pizza was still as good. I'm pleased to report we were not disappointed. Very reasonably priced and a good choice. As before, full of locals having a good time. Think it's a place wel'll keep returning to when we're in Le Marche. Definitely worth visiting.

I would recommend the sliced beef with Aceto balsamica, my husband adores the vulcano pizza, my daughters fav is grilled mixed lamb and pork with insalata misti and our boys loved the crostini misti and mozzarella sticks, pasta pommodore, pizza.....let 's just sat hey liked everything. The staff are warm and welcoming. A true taste of Italy at very reasonable prices.... We will be returning!

Child-friendly establishment with swings at the bottom of the garden along with some entertaining goats. A family restaurant with charming owners who speak a little English. Great location close to the lake. Highly recommended.

The pasta dish... read more We were staying nearby so visited on a number of occasions for both lunch and dinner. Pizzas in the evening are a must and the menu is extensive. The pasta dishes are good too. Family run from what we could gather, the place was popular with tourists and locals. Watch out for the flies in the evening, as you can imagine by the lake they are plentiful!
