The food was great — with a simplicity of the 1980s. Salad bar with a thousand island dressing made me smile. Excellent trout served with green beans and a baked potato. Backkartoffel was perfectly prepared and came with sour cream and bacon. Old school good food. Service is slow, but pleasant. TIP: Full bar, but don't go to order a mojito in this nice place. It's a Jack and coke place. View all feedback.
What Julien doesn't like about The Salmon House:
Don't expect anything crazy in terms of cuisine. It's the bare minimum, broccoli on the plate, overcooked salmon and uninteresting desserts. Not to mention overpriced draft beers!! In short, it's not incredible value for money. And the decoration doesn't speak for itself, it's depressing because it's so ugly View all feedback.
Absolutely amazing food, decent prices and very attentive staff. The food was seriously some of the best I had. We had the chicken parmesan and the fatuccini Alfredo. The plates were so filled that we didn't have space for deserts, but the deserts we saw looked fantastic. I can't wait to go back. One has to stop any holiday in the area.
The salmon was cooked perfectly, presentation was nicely done even in a to go box due to restrictions.
Amazing food! We had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes and the blackened salmon. The very nice gentleman that runs the store across the street recommended and we are so glad he did.
The seafood was very good. I ate the tiger prawns wirh fries and my gf took the salmon. The waiting time was also absolutely ok. Not too overprized.
Food is amazing. The blacked pepper jelly salmon was the best I have ever had.
