Great food, great worth, just a little too much noise. the **** is out of this work. the Kobe-Rindburger cannot be beaten. really a place to try.
Loved the ambiance and our waiter was absolutely amazing! You could tell he really appreciates good food. Here is the rundown on our meal 1) My husband had the whole fish but it was filleted on top of a risotto. Overall, very good it was just a bit too buttery and a bit too much salt. Risotto was cooked very well which is sometimes hard to do. 2) I had the braised beef ribs on top of mashed potatoes. My only complaint is that the stew broth thinned out my potatoes to the point where I only got a bite or two of potato. I like that they do not do bread baskets, but would suggest a little something to tie you over since the food is made fresh to order. Perhaps, some nuts, small crudite, etc. Prices on some items were a bit high for the amount of food. We will definitely go back just some feedback for the restaurant.
Creative menu, fresh ingredients, comfortable atmosphere....good value. Would recommend to someone looking for a interesting, new experience in Hunterdon/Somerset counties.
Beautiful farm too table restaurant, limited but imaginative menu. also byob, which keeps the price beautiful.
We visited Tenderhill on a Wednesday evening. We were a group of 9. The service was outstanding, as was the food. The waiter was very well versed in every item on the menu and gave fantastic recommendations. The group of diners were from all over the country and every one said when they come back in town for the next group meeting, they want to return to Tenderhill for dinner. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was absolutely delicious! The short ribs were fantastic, as was the gnocchi and sous vide chicken. S'more tart for desert topped off the evening! I highly recommend this gem in Readington.
