Hampton Chutney Co. - Amagansett

Above all, the Curry Chutney chicken dosa was one of the best things I've ever had. Put your hands down. All right. We loved everything we had here. Very busy; clearly others think it is worth stopping. There are limited indoor dining area, but we could grab a corner counter. You're also making a fleeting company. If the weather is good, there are many picnic tables in the front to also enjoy your meal.

The Hampton Chutney Co. is a real clamp of the Hamptons.. For over a decade in the heart of the city centre of Amagansett, they have consistently served ingenious dishes. So many nice food and drinks options here. I stayed with my family yesterday while I went through the city and we closed them just before they closed. The staff was absolutely welcoming and friendly.. The decor is as warm and welcoming as it was always.. I haven't eaten there for several years and that was the first introduction of my children into their famous cansas.. We ordered two cans, a selection of their Chutneys (each 50 cents I suggest you try them all!! and the Dahl soup. Everything was fantastic! We skipped the Mango Lassi (a delicious traditional Indian yogurt smoothie we usually get, but if you never had one, you should definitely try!! If you're in caffeine drinks, you can't go wrong with the many chai and coffee drinks they offer. My personal favorite is the cardamom coffee.. If you are east looking for something else and delicious, give the Hampton Chutney Co. a try..

Here for lunch after our exit to the Hamptons and loved everything! The food was delicious and the prices were decent. I have the Masala Deluxe Dosa (although the plain Masala could get if I would go back) with the Cilantro and Mango Chutneys. Also enjoyed an icy cardamom coffee! In any case, go here if you are in the area!!!

I always get the same dosa every time #6. For almost two decades here. I can eat here every day! Sad (bitter sweet) to see it, close it doors in Amagansett at the end of this summer.

Quite pleased by this location nearby! My daughter put me on to this... I love love love the dosa. Cannot wait to try them all! Wonderful healthy eating. Homemade cookies were superb.... not to mention the mango drink! No complaints. Will definitely be my new go-to spot in Amagansett
