Marco's Bar & Bistro - Alvor

I can honestly say this has made my holiday finding this bistro. The Sunday roast was outstanding. The couple couldn’t do enough for you. Very happy to accommodate your food choices. Such a great variety. Would very highly recommend to anybody coming to Alvor.

Marco and Jackie were great! Accommodating to the customers requests and everything home cooked to your needs. We had pie and mash. 3 pies and double mash. Its the best you will get outside of London and we cleared the plate. Liquor was thick too. Plenty of meat in the pies! Brilliant and well worth a visit!!

It was great to see Marco and Jackie once again in their lovely spot by the pool. The food was as good as ever. My wife had a ham and mushroom omelette while I had the bacon and cheese panini. This was early in the day so light was the order of the day. Tasty, hot and extremely fresh food as always. I cannot recommend this spot highly enough and advise all to visit at least once if in Alvor. Check for opening times. You will not be disappointed.

Popped in for lunch at Marco’s, it was delicious and we went back for dinner! Jackie Marco give the warmest of welcomes. They are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. They said, tell us what you want and we will make it for you, absolutely fantastic! They made Mac Cheese for me and Steak pie for my Dad, as it’s our favourites even though it’s not on the menu. Food was delicious, best fish and chips my family have had too and great for vegetarians. Would definitely recommend. Thanks again Jackie Marco!

Highly recommend we came here twice during our 4 night stay. First day had a breakfast which was amazing and the best poached eggs I have EVER had the second day for lunch which was just as good. Everyone extremely welcoming and friendly would definitely come back!
