We ate there several times during our stay both at lunch and evening, plus we had takeaway Wishing Paulo and his staff lots of luck...for the future.

Paul... read more We were staying at the Vilamor for the first time so had no idea what was around us. On our first night we headed towards town and walked past this place. Paul greeted us even though we weren't going in to his restaurant what...a mistake that was On the way back to our apartment we called in for a drink and decided to eat here as soon as possible. The following evening we had our evening meal in El Prego and it was simply delicious. I had the peri peri chicken and my wife had monkfish stew. On other occasions we tried many of the tapas dishes as well as the carry out service as we were staying just around the corner. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we had and Paul was a fantastic host who said hello to us each time we passed. We also liked to call in just for drinks on our way to and from Alvor itself. This is a new venture for Paul and his family and we wish him all the best. He deserves to succeed with food, drink, service atmosphere and prices this good.
