Best food we had in all portugal. the monkfish medallions were incredible and so was the stone steak. if you're ever in alvor this is a must. make sure you get a table in the courtyard. the staff was also incredibly nice. wish I could give this place 10 stars
After accidently finding this place due to other restaurants being fully booked, what a find! They fitted us in at the front of the restaurant. Staff there were amazing! Beautiful restaurants, and the food perfectly cooked fresh sea food. Recommend the mussels starter and the John dory main. Will definitely be going back we want to try the outdoor seating at the rear of the restaurant as it looks so pretty.
Awesome dinner with fabulous service … just had mains but this was plenty … Cataplana was outstanding and the steak on hot stone a great treat for my eldest (theatre taste) and spaghetti fruit de mar was gobbled up by my youngest with nothing left to share! Would highly recommend
Food was beautiful and restaurant was nice and warm in March.
A beautiful restaurant. Everything about it is tasteful, not just the food which was quite excellent. The decor, atmosphere, service and even the music (which was low but added to the relaxing armosphere), all paid atrention to detail. I wholeheartedly recommend the Adega as a place to go if you want the best, especially if you are a lover of fish !
