Starbucks - Alvin

I order an Americano nearly every day, and recently I noticed some concerning issues during my visits. On one occasion, I watched the barista use the cold water spigot to fill my hot Americano, which resulted in it being lukewarm. When I brought it to their attention, they made it again, but it was still cold. The third time, a different barista simply steamed the cream without addressing the core issue. There was no apology, just a blank stare and visible annoyance from the second barista. Having been a barista myself for six years, I was truly taken aback by the lack of care. This location consistently fails to have my drink ready by the time I make my 16-minute drive to work—it's a recurring problem. It seems like it might be time for a change in staff. Price per person: $10-20.

I will keep my review at one star until your restaurant is available on DoorDash again and stays on the platform for at least a week. I don’t understand why this is so challenging. Hydra House, which is five miles farther away, consistently offers cheaper options and is always available on DoorDash, getting my orders right every time. If business is too overwhelming, just hire more staff or consider paying your current employees more. Is that really such a difficult decision? Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

The coffee was hot, as always. For takeout, I had a wonderful experience. The price per person was between $10 and $20. I would rate the food a 5, the service also a 5, and the atmosphere, despite being takeout, a solid 5 as well.
