We chose the chef's tapas menu because it was so hard to choose. Everything was top, from aperitive to the coffee. Before the kids, there was a child tapas menu. This case has already made several prizes, and that's really bad that it's so far for us, because here I would like to eat regularly. A real rapist when you're around, the trouble to take a walk for it. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tapa-tapa:
Had reserved, yet ignoranced a little more than I know, because first time, certain dishes were extraordinaryly hot hostess deserves a plum for comment, unfortunately, which is a little late for taste detectors. View all feedback.
We were excited to try the tasty dishes at this restaurant as a couple, but were disappointed by the very impersonal service during our last two visits. The staff, mainly students, were well-trained but lacked any personal interaction with us. The manager, Hilde, did not come to our table after serving our dishes to check in on us. We paid 130 euros for the Valentine's Menu, which included drinks, but found ourselves unable to enjoy the wine as each course came with a shot. As we and other diners were still finishing our coffee, the noise from the open kitchen became overwhelming, drowning out the background music and causing some customers to look up in irritation. We quickly finished our coffee and paid, feeling unwelcome and unsatisfied with our experience. We received a brief goodbye from the host, but that was the extent of our interaction. Hilde's absence and lack of personal touch left us feeling like just another number in a restaurant that once had a more welcoming atmosphere. It is disappointing, as we used to frequent this restaurant often and enjoyed it in the past. Unfortunately, our recent experiences have left much to be desired.
The restaurant is very nice and cozy. Just a tip: the menu can be a bit confusing. For those with smaller appetites like us, the chef's small plates may leave you still feeling hungry. But overall, it's a good spot to have a meal.
I had made a reservation but was greeted with ignorance. I wished there was more explanation since it was my first time dining here. Some dishes were extremely spicy. The waitress was hospitable but her response to our feedback was delayed. I recommend better training for servers to accurately gauge spiciness levels.
The little tapa menu taken from the house. It was very good, we weren't overbound. Antwerps. Nice wine. Nice service. We'll definitely come back for the big tapa table.
Tapas, however, mediocre. Our children weren't exactly welcome either. For this price, we expected more.
