This restaurant is fantastic! I highly recommend trying the Birria quesatacos. They’re essentially street tacos wrapped in a quesadilla shell that you dip into a flavorful broth. It’s messy but absolutely delicious!

I visited El Rey specifically to try their queso birria. They are available only in packs of five, priced at around $11-12 per order. I ended up buying two orders for my wife and me to enjoy for lunch and dinner. They were incredible! The tacos had a crispy exterior and were juicy and cheesy on the inside. The consommé that accompanies them was packed with flavor and had the perfect level of spiciness. The green salsa served with the tacos might just be the best I’ve ever tasted. I highly recommend this place!
