We were going to stop at the Restaurant ALVALADE but being Monday it was closed so we dropped in at this place across the road. Obviously very popular with travellers and locals alike on the left side of the IC1 going north, we had the dish of the day, beer and a pudding of arroz dulce (rice pudding), bread, butter and paste all for €23 which is great. Bastante rápido. Tem uma boa variedade de opções. As sobremesas são generosas. Uma boa opção para quem está de passagem.
Di passaggio verso l'Algarve, al bordo della strada si nota questo locale. Nessun orpello ma grande qualità di cucina portoghese. Buono tutto e prezzi nella norma, si mangia con poco e l'accoglienza é genuina. Posto frequentato da locali di tutti i tipi. Molto spartano ma pulito.
Als we hier in de buurt zijn moeten we langs dit restaurant met heerlijke eigen Portugese gerechten, en dan vooral de schelpen.

We were going to stop at the Restaurant Alvalade but being Monday it was closed so we dropped in at this place across the road. Obviously very popular with travellers and locals alike on the left side of the IC1 going north, we had the dish of the day, beer and a pudding of arroz dulce (rice pudding), bread, butter and paste all for €23 which is great. It was pleasantly served by a young lady with a bit of English thrown in and we went away happy. Give it a whirl if you are passing.
