This restaurant lays in the impressive and beautiful environment of the Weizmann Institute of Science. Architecture of the building is also a positive feature. Food is average. Service forgetful. If you need a seat without reservation, you need to be able to speak hebrew otherwise no chance... Still because of its location definitely worth a visit!
Pleasant atmosphere. Expensive. You need to sit down for waiter service to be given a plate to get up and select your buffet.
The place offers very nice surroundings of The Weizmann Institute of Science but unfortunately the experience is barely passable because of the rather mediocre food and just appalling service. The waiters and especially the hostesses are soooo full of themselves, they propably have decided that they are of the same or even better kind as Weizmann's scientists and the appropriate way to behave with the customers is being rude and arrogant. I thought it was a bad day the first time, the second time, but the same thing happening three times in a row just proves that it is a policy. The only reason to visit the place is Friday morning buffet where you can build yourself a breakfast, but those geniuses decided to take a holier-than-thou approach to the coronavirus restrictions and let inside maybe 10 people despite the fact that the place is huge and attention they don't serve outside!!! Brilliant way to go where they definitely deserve. In short : better to avoid or at least keep contact at the bare minimum for Friday mornings, reserving table in advance. Not sure it's worth it.
Very beautiful place, calming fountain and green trees make you feel wonderful. Unfortunately, the food is poor. Chopped tomatoes and cucumbers they call a salad, charging way too much for it. Do not let a couple ordering 1 breakfast. I came with my partner, I was planning to have coffee pastry, and my partner was a bit hungry, asked a breakfast for him. Waiter told us, that he can't share salads with me. That was cheap move and embarrassing for both of us.
Beautiful place in the beautiful campus of the weizmann instituts. we were there on Friday, where they breakfast buffet with a large amount of different salads and spreads, very delicious. they can only pay a little more for the buffet if they also take omelette and coffee. if they plan to come on Friday, better to reserve the place in advance, they could be full. photos are from the building and from the small pond at the entrance.
