Jd's Hideaway - Altus
Jd's Hideaway
Description
Amid a lively, family-friendly atmosphere with arcade games, axe throwing and a broad craft and draft beer selection, this local spot is notable for warm service and clean, casual surroundings. Food opinions vary: some praise excellent wings, burgers and fries, while others report bland or undersized portions, pricey items, and inconsistent charcuterie and menu availability. Overall it’s a social, activity-driven venue worth visiting for drinks and games, but diners should expect variability in food quality and occasional stock issues.

Prices are high for the quality of food there, the Jim's Fish Chips could use a refresher, bland and small portions. The Cheese Curds are ungodly expensive, but decently good. Think this might be my last time ordering from here...
The fried cheesecake was 6.50 and came with two little pieces. The churros were cold, had no cream, had much more longer sticks, and were 1.50 less than the cheesecake.
The food was disappointing and definitely below average. The chicken sandwich was soggy instead of crispy, and the fries were wilted and tasted like they were cooked in old, burnt oil. The only thing I genuinely liked was the beer. I probably won't be returning.
