During our travels from Arizona, we stopped by this restaurant. Despite the mixed reviews we had read, we found the atmosphere to be calming and welcoming. Run by a single woman, the service was still efficient. We enjoyed margaritas and appetizers before our dinner, which consisted of large plates with generous portions. Opting for combo plates, we left feeling content and satisfied. After our meal, we had a pleasan... View all feedback.

What Susan Farris dislikes about El Agave Azul:
The food was average, not great but okay. My husband ordered a chimichanga but received a burrito instead. The chips were stale and the beans and rice were bland with no flavor. There was no ice in my iced tea and no one checked on us during our meal. I had to ask for the check myself. Overall, we were not satisfied and do not plan to return. Rating: Service - 1, Atmosphere - 2. View all feedback.

The dining experience was disappointing. The enchilada was tough and difficult to cut, and even the rice was dry. While the overall meal was decent, it didn't quite meet expectations. It's unlikely I'll return again.

My first time eating here at Agave Azul mexican restaurant. The waitress is nice n helpful with the menu. The food was great tasting and the plates are freshly made...

The dish I ordered from the menu was not what was served to me at the table. I asked to see the menu again to ensure I hadn't misunderstood. The server seemed unaware that I had also ordered a large margarita, which was indeed large but lacked a variety of tequilas. The service was subpar and the food was mediocre at best. I would not return to this restaurant.

Our family, visiting from Washington state, celebrated my husband's 78th birthday at this enjoyable restaurant. The food was fantastic!

Agave Azul presents a culinary experience that elicits contrasting opinions. While some diners rave about the fresh and authentic Mexican dishes served in a welcoming atmosphere, others criticize the subpar quality and service, citing bland flavors, reheated meals, and long waits. Patrons have noted the efficient yet solitary service provided by the owner, who passionately connects with guests. Prices vary, with some feeling they reflect the quality offered, while others deem them too steep for the fare served. Despite the disparities in experience, Agave Azul remains a topic of discussion for its potential and pitfalls.

To start off, we waited 44 minutes for our food. It is run by a single person who acts as server, waiter, and cashier. The food is not fresh, with refried beans from cans and overcooked rice. The burrito seemed like it was purchased from a grocery store and simply microwaved. This is a disappointing place and not worth your time or money. It is far from authentic. Thank you, Sergio. This restaurant offers authentic food in a wonderful setting. The service is excellent, perfect for a sit-down dinner. The price per person is between $20 and $30. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a top rating of 5. A highly recommended dish is the Burrito.

I was very disappointed in the quality and quantity of the plate I was served. In addition, I believe the prices were high. I will not return to this restaurant. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50
